I worked closely with Associate Designer Grace Venning to age the set and floor so that they appeared as they would in a neglected, apocalyptic world.

We sponged on layers of paint in several earth colours onto the floor in the areas that would collect dirt and decay in a community centre but stylised it a little to evoke the apocalyptic decay of the show.

We finally glazed and sealed the floor with a non slip sealer so that the floor could be flooded and safely walked on at the end of the play.
